While most people get scared by the very word hospital, the truth is that the new age hospitals citing the term multi-specialty have rather eased the load around a patient’s neck. The patients manage to get everything related to their illness and treatment at one place itself. Gone are the days when the patients needed to go running around several different places to get the tests done, then the reports, then the consultation, then the medicines and then the hospital. These days, all and everything is done at one place.

Now remember that the patients come from all walk of the life. While some are super rich and can afford the costliest of the treatments available, others come from such modest implies that they don’t actually have a concept about their next meal. With such universities existing, simply one kind of hospital catering to their wishes is not practical. when you’re on a lookout of a hospital, you may notice that there are 3 kinds of hospitals private, public and charitable. Private Hospitals: Private Hospitals: Just as the name suggests, private hospitals are the hospitals that are not owned by the government. These are privately owned hospitals, belonging to a particular person or a society. Private hospitals have so far proved to be better in terms of offering services to the patients. Since the management of these hospitals is in the hands of a private institution, special care is taken towards keeping the hospital clean and providing the patients with best services possible. You see, for private hospitals, earning a profit becomes important and hence, beating the competition by providing the best services to the patients becomes their main motive. Most of the best doctors work in private hospitals as they get paid better here. Then again, with good doctors comes better treatments and hence less chances of any complication due to negligence.

Public Hospitals: These kinds of hospitals are owned by the government. The government is responsible for everything starting from the management, staff to other maintenance issues with the hospital. Since government hospitals are cheap, most of the poor population of the country gets their treatments done here. It is hence not a rare sight to see more patients in the hospital than the number of beds provided. Cleanliness and services are not very much heeded to in these hospitals.

Charitable Hospitals: Charitable Hospitals: Finally, for most poor people, charitable hospitals are the best option. Since these work on charity basis, the poor can get treated for free. Most doctors working in these hospitals are good, simply because they work part-time or as charity to work for these institutions while continuing their practice elsewhere. Services provided are extremely banal, though these hospitals provide the patients with free medicines.

Now depending on how much you can afford, you can make an informed decision with regards to your choice of Hospital.
