Many people today think that getting Florida individual health insurance to cover their insurance needs if they do not get this from their employer is out of the question due to cost. There are a great many people who feel that health insurance is too costly for them to afford and go without it. This can not only be detrimental to the health of any individual, but can also end up costing someone their life savings or their home if they wind up in the hospital and face a mountain of medical bills. For this reason, it is important to have health insurance as well as compare health insurance coverage.
When you compare health insurance coverage, you can see the difference in the coverage that different companies will offer you as well as the rate for the coverage. When you are looking for Florida individual health insurance, it pays to make sure that you compare health insurance by way of coverage that is allowed and the amount of the monthly premiums for the coverage. The more comparisons you do when you are looking for Florida individual health insurance, the more you will see that having health insurance is affordable and usually a lot more affordable than you think.
You want to compare health insurance coverage by way of what they will allow you. Some companies have a network of doctors from which you can choose when you are getting Florida individual health insurance. Other companies allow you to choose your own doctor. The type of coverage that you pick depends upon your own personal preference. There is also a difference between co payments for some companies as well as deductibles. The higher the deductibles, the lower the health insurance quotes, so this is something that an individual might want to take a look at if they are looking for a way to save on monthly premiums. It is much more affordable to have high deductibles when it comes to health insurance than low deductibles as you are basically getting Florida individual health insurance in this way to make sure that you are covered for a hospitalization.
It is important for everyone who lives in the State of Florida to have Florida individual health insurance as this can help them not only prevent massive medical bills in case they have to go to the hospital but will also induce them to seek out medical care if they should need it. Many medical problems can be avoided by seeing the doctor before they become a problem that requires surgery or hospitalization. The more someone sees the doctor for regular checkups, the more they can enjoy good health. Those who are looking for Florida individual health insurance should make sure they compare health insurance that not only allows them to be covered in case of a major illness or accident, but also allows them to a see a doctor for preventative medical care. Both aspects of health insurance should be reviewed by anyone who is seeking to compare health insurance quotes.

John Stossel makes the case that we should pay for own healthcare. What a shocking notion!

@Necr0forte I think you missed the entire point of this video. Stossel is saying we should pay for healthcare services on a case by case basis. Pay for our visits. Pay for our surgeries. Pay for our medicines. Insurance may not be necessary at all, is the point.
@fafafohigh69 These were not absolute solutions they were simply ideas. He wouldn’t want the government spending money on these things in the first place, but, since they’re spending already, they may as well spend on certain things instead of bailouts, wars, other countries, global warming, shit we dont need. Just the lesser of two evils. But overall, the government should not be taxing and spending for benevolence.
@Necr0forte we dont have a right to it

@fafafohigh69 – Radical ideas? Really, the Constitution is a “radical idea”? The Bill of Rights is a radical idea? I’m sorry, but I disagree.
Limited government helps the poor far more than it benefits the rich.
Being the party of “No” is a very good thing, when the idea in question is so very, very bad.
You talk of civil rights, and then you say Stossel is against them, he’s not. He’s in favor of more rights for the individual, and fewer for the government.
There is no contradiction.
@punkwasher
“Funny how countries with socialized? medicine don’t have these problems.”
This is why you’re stupid. You’re country has no economy or JOBS.
@fafafohigh69 Human rights? We don’t have a “right” to free health care. It costs money. If someone doesn’t pay the cost, then they have to pay the consequences. I’m sure Stossel would love for health care to be free for everyone, but that simply cannot happen. NOTHING is free.
@johneldewey “the fragmented nature of the US payment? system (i.e. many insurers) has allowed for skyrocketing costs.”
You mean having lots of different health insurers all competing for the same consumer dollar results in price increases? Wow, that is exactly the opposite of everything I’ve ever heard or read about economics.
I love Johnny Boy
1 out of every 3 dollars spent on healthcare goes to insurance companies. How do they help your health? By pushing paper? Denying coverage? Picking and choosing docs or meds? Do they know anything about how to treat illness…I mean really????
This 1/3 going directly for paper-pushing has been going on for years.
@punkwasher Healthcare is a right? How did you come to this conclusion? Oh yeah, Article 8 of the Constitution says, “Healthcare shall be Universal.” My bad.
if you watch Stossel on Fox Business News, he brings on a Fox contributor to say rather than fix global warming, we would spend our money wiser by taking care of the poor, yet obviously is against universal healthcare. This is contradictory, and Stossel has apparently taken the views of the party of “No”. He does not advocate civil rights, I categorize him with Glenn Beck now, no more 20/20 for me until they can him if they havent already, this man has either sold out or really has radical ideas
Funny how countries with socialized medicine don’t have these problems. Also, health isn’t a car. It’s a human right. Would you pay to be alive? No? Same reason, huh…
Funny how countries with socialized medicine don’t have these problems.
what kind of drugs is he on saying that “we expect someone else to pay.” We pay BIG TIME for health insurance. Who does he think pays…the insinuation is taht insurance companies provide freebies
Look up USA today, Oct. 22nd. “Feds accuse Michigan Blue Cross of anticompetitive contracts.” THIS is what happens in the REAL world. We need more personal responsibility for costs? Wrong tool for an imaginary culprit.
“Why do we as a society think somebody else should pay for it?” The one thing almost everyone in the US fails to understand is the redistributive function of health insurance. Insurance in health care is NOT just about personal risk reduction. WE pay for OUR health care, by pooling our resources. Every other civilized society gets this simple concept and ditched profit-driven health care *financing* decades ago. Oh, and they all spend less on health care and have better health outcomes.
Ah yes, the zombie idea that health care costs have risen so high because US “consumers” are driving from clinic to clinic, collecting unnecessary bandages, shots, and surgeries willy-nilly without caring about price. Too bad it has little or no empirical evidence to back it up. Anyone who studies health care systems seriously should know that the fragmented nature of the US payment system (i.e. many insurers) has allowed for skyrocketing costs. “Moral hazard?” Yes, but not on the patient side.
Because healthcare is the backbone of society alongside education and needs to be consistent?
However I do agree, for a flu or slight fever that these people should pay for themselves.
Our health care is profit. Everything for profit, about money for big companies even the new reform is going to help those companies( insurance and drugs )
@Depravedmaniac666 Obamas idea = 3 / 5 , but at least he has one.
We have a simmilar system here in Sweden and at least it works a lot better than what you’ve got now.
- This was a great vid by the way, really made me think…
@Depravedmaniac666 Agreed. But you’re not the healthiest. So I guess you need some kind of change right?
The free market system is a great idea, but the way you have it in the US doesn’t work, since the goverment have no sustainable way of inspecting companys that push the prices (verry) high and keep the sick and poor out.
Why not introduce a system that combines a free market with less goverment CONTROLL, and with the goverment/state INSPECTING companys that needs that ?
This is what is happening to college tuition too. Why has the cost of college gone up? Do books and building cost more? Does electricity cost more? Yes, but not enough to account for the increase. The less that people are responsible for their education costs, then the more colleges will take advantage of it. Some now want to make it even easier to pay for tuition. They want you to pay it back over your lifetime. Colleges and Universities can raise prices even more; what the “market” will bear.
@TheWhiteRabbit1990
My apologies White Rabbit!!
This is what happens when you lead a civilization down the road to serfdom. People become irresponsible & take things for granted which then allows others to take advantage of them…
